Jacquelyn "Jackie" Lee Moorer, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, August 5, 2023. Born January 18, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Cliff Provo and Juanita Rabon Snow. Jackie was a devoted wife, mother, and Christian. She is now celebrating in heaven along with her long-time pastor and brother in Christ, Reverend Jewel E. Jeffcoat.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ronald E. Moorer, Sr.; children, Rhonda Moorer Davis (Ray), Rick Moorer (Tara), and Rodger Moorer (Patty); grandchildren, Graham, Brandan, Lauren, Amber, Josh, Eric, Zack, Charlie, Raygan, Chasen, Brianna, and Sami; great grandson, Noah; sister, Jane Lee; and many great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Ronald E. Moorer, Jr.; daughter, Robin L. Sharpe, and granddaughter, Jerica L. Moorer.

The graveside service for Mrs. Moorer will be held at 11 o'clock, Tuesday, August 8th at Lexington Memorial Cemetery, 1772 W. Main St., Lexington. The visitation will be held from 6 until 8 o'clock, Monday, August 7th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
