Obituary
James Henry "Jim" Freeman, 69, of Swansea, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017. Born March 5, 1947 in Richland County, he was the son of the late Vera Hoffman Freeman and Harry Arthur Freeman. Jim graduated from Columbia High School and proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. In 2010, he retired from the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
He is survived by numerous cousins and close friends.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is assisting the family.
