James Travis Lovejoy, 41, of Lugoff, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Born on October 12, 1978 in Charleston, West Virginia he was a son of Pam Lovejoy and Doyle "Peanut" Lovejoy (Babette Lovejoy).

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Hunter Lovejoy; brother, Allen Lovejoy; and baby sis, Tasha Lovejoy. Travis is also survived by his uncle, Tommy Counts; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins; three nephews; two nieces; and a countless number of friends that he always claimed as family.

Travis loved helping, giving to others and making people smile. He was most known for his kind and beautiful eyes, his bright smile, wonderful personality, his big heart, and kind soul. Travis was an avid Gamecock and Vikings fan. He loved to deer hunt, fast cars, motorcycles, and being surrounded by good people. His family and friends were everything to him and he never wanted to see those he loved upset. Travis' kind heart will be greatly missed by all.

The family will gather to remember Travis, from 6 until 8 o'clock, Tuesday, November 12th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
