Obituary
James Henry Windhorn, 67, of Blythewood, died Sunday, April 2, 2017, after a brief illness. "Jim", a son of the late John and Henrietta Windhorn was born, April 16, 1949. He retired from Richland County School District Two as a special needs school bus driver.
Survivors include sisters and brothers, Kay (Milton) Mattox, John Windhorn III, William Windhorn, and Mary (Mike) Hall of Boone, NC.
The service will be 11 o'clock, Thursday, April 6th, at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 1729 Blythewood Road, Blythewood. The family will receive friends following the service. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Epworth Children's Home, 2900 Millwood Avenue, Columbia, SC 29205.
A special thank you is extended to Melody and Mike Anderson for their caregiving services during Jim's illness.
