Jane Kitts Mollohan, 74, of Columbia, died on Friday, January 3, 2025. Born on March 10, 1950, in Sutton, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late John Edward Shomo and Loretha Eloise Brady Shomo. Ms. Mollohan was an X-Ray Technician for the majority of career. Later in life, she furthered her education and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was an avid reader and loved photography.

Survivors include her sisters, Becky Hendricks (C.W.) of Blythewood, SC and Bobbi Shomo of Gassaway, WV. She also leaves behind a niece, Elly Swindler of Blythewood, SC; nephews, Mont Hendricks of Blythewood, SC, Charley Hendricks of Blythewood, SC, John Ratliff of Sand Fork, WV; Godson, Jabari Buchanon-Rashid, currently serving in the US Navy; as well as numerous cousins and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Michael Ratliff of Gassaway, WV.

A celebration of life will be held in West Virginia at a future date.

Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family and will announce further plans.
