Janice Marie Lucas, 54, of Columbia, died Thursday, May 30, 2019. Born August 26, 1964, in Columbia, she was a daughter of Mable Smith Lucas and the late Martin Shelton Lucas.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her niece, Kate Lashway (Chris); nephew, Travis Lucas (Angel); great nieces and nephews, Brady Lashway, Penelope Lashway, Alyssa Lucas, and Zoey Lucas; cousin, Jimmy Prescott; as well as many other extended family and friends.

A graveside service for Ms. Lucas will be held 11 o'clock Saturday, June 29th at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
