Janice Riley Threatt Reeves, 24, of Chapin, died Friday, April 18, 2014. Born in Columbia on August 2, 1989, she is survived by her loving parents Sandra and Francis Marion Reeves III. A soft-spoken and loving young woman, Janice will be remembered as a person who cared deeply about others. Janice found great joy in applying her love and dedication to caretaking; as she pursued a degree in nursing. Janice's kind heart will be deeply missed most by her family, friends and all who were touched by her loving spirit.

Along with her parents, Janice is survived by her "favorite twin" and younger brother, Francis Marion Reeves, IV; her beloved and doting uncle, Arthur "Mac" McFarland; and aunts, Pamela Ross and her husband, Rick, and Susan Shores and her husband, Jonathan.

Janice's memorial service will be held at 12 o'clock, Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorials, in Janice's honor, may be made to the charity of one's choice.
