Jeanne R. Miro, of Camden, SC, died Thursday, October 3, 2019. Born in Schenectady, New York, on November 22, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Eugene E. Ryon and Dorothy Harnishfeger Ryon. As a manager for Tupperware, Jeanne was known as the "Tupperware Lady" throughout South County, Rhode Island. She raised her family in South Kingstown, RI. Jeanne was an avid reader of historical romance novels and even got to work in a bookstore for a time. Later, she spent a decade and a half working for Rizzo Financial. What Jeanne loved most was interacting with customers and helping people. Just a few years ago, Jeanne and her husband, Doug, moved to South Carolina where she enjoyed many more months of hot weather during the year as compared to her years spent up north.
Jeanne is survived by her beloved husband, Paul Douglas "Doug" Miro; her sons, Paul of West Kingston, RI and Ryon (Kristen) of Elgin, SC; five grandchildren, Emma, Walker, Carolyn Jeanne "CJ", Mason, and Robbie; and a sister, Dorene Dahoney (Tom) of Apache Junction, AZ. In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by her sister, Susan.
The services for Mrs. Miro will be held at a later date and will be private. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
