Jerry Lanier Britt Jr. "Bubba", passed away suddenly on October 26, 2022. He was born in Darlington, SC, on December 8, 1960. Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Nancy Lee Britt and Jerry Britt Sr., as well as his beloved sister, Farris Davis. He is survived by his sister, Angie (Randy) Cooper of Lexington and his brother, Darren (Lisa) Britt, Sr. of Elgin. As a beloved "Uncle Bubba", Jerry leaves his love to his amazing nieces and nephews, Renee, Joseph, Robin, Alexandria, D, Logan, Amanda, Jeremy, Cody, and Jess, and to his pup, Tinkerbell.

Jerry spent many years in construction and floor covering industry. He lived life to the fullest. Jerry always had a smile or a laugh and he enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, such as hunting, fishing, racing, Gamecock football, and making his many friends and family laugh, especially in his Donald Duck voice. He had a way to to reach people in a deep and positive way and brought joy and love to those he met.

Family, friends, and anyone whose life was touched by Bubba are invited to join the family to remember and celebrate Jerry's life at 1 o'clock Tuesday, November 1st at Crescent Hill Baptist Church, 2659 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29204. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Rd, Columbia, SC 29204.

The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC.
