Jilda Leigh Sharp, 53, of Killian, died December 10, 2016, after lingering illnesses. She was born on August 23, 1963 to Janice Grimsley DeLozier and Carroll Morris. Jil was a member of Killian Baptist Church and lived in Killian most of her life. She graduated from Spring Valley High School and attended the University of South Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Danielle Strong and her children, Alaysia, James, Skylar, Destiny, and Lillie;
brother, Mitchell Morris (Kathy) and their daughters, McKenna, and Kyra.

A graveside service will be held at 3 o'clock, Wednesday, December 14th at Killian Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Richard A. Humphries officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 o'clock Tuesday evening at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association (Juvenile), PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
