Jimmie "Big Jim" Wendell Abell, 68, of Blythewood, died Sunday, January 6, 2013. Born May 21, 1944, in Columbia, SC, he was a son of the late James Thomas Abell and Ann Hall Abell.
Survivors include a brother, Reid Abell; former sister-in-law, Ann Bass; nephew, Scott (Becky) Abell; great nephew, James Abell; and a great niece, Madison Abell.
A memorial service for Mr. Abell will be held, 11 o'clock, Thursday, January 10th, at Pine View Baptist Church, 111 Pineview Church Rd., Blythewood. Memories and condolences may be added online at ShivesFuneralHome.com. For memorial contributions, please contact the family.
