John A. Conde, 92, of Columbia, died Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born on February 8, 1930, in Geneva, Illinois. John graduated from Cornell College in 1951 and honorably served his country in the US Air Force for 4 years. He worked for thirty-seven years in the appliance industry before retiring in Columbia in 1992.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Sara; sons, Christopher of St. Louis, MO, Thomas (Lisa) of Ridgewood, NJ, and Gregory of Columbia; as well as 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The memorial service for Mr. Conde will be held at 2 o'clock on Friday, September 16th, at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, 1100 Sumter Street, Columbia, SC. A reception will be held in Saterlee Hall immediately following the service. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
