John Clifton Daniels, 85, of Columbia, died Saturday, September 26, 2015. Born April 18, 1930, in Columbia, he was the son of the late John Henry and Janie Sprouse Daniels. Mr. Daniels was a sheet metal worker who was considered one of the best in the Southeast, renowned for the quality of his work. He was a US Army veteran, a member of Ravenwood Baptist Church and most of all a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley L. Daniels; children, Duane Daniels, Janet McCabe (Tom) and Terry Daniels; grandchildren, Erin, Tyler and Trent Daniels. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Genevieve Davis Price, Naomi Chappell, Grace Grover, Pete and Hamilton Daniels.

A graveside service for Mr. Daniels will be held 1 o'clock, Monday, September 28th, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 7100 Garners Ferry Rd, Columbia. A visitation will be held at the graveside prior to the service, starting at 12:30 o'clock.
