Mr. John F. Hildebrand's Obituary
Mr. John Franklin Hildebrand, 73, of Augusta, GA, died Friday, February 26, 2016, following a long illness. Born in Columbia, SC on April 17, 1942, he was a son of the late Franklin Lee Hildebrand, Jr. and Nina Taylor Hildebrand. John proudly served in both the Air National Guard and the US Navy. He is survived by a brother, Gregory T. Hildebrand (Becky).
A graveside service for Mr. Hildebrand will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, March 2nd, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
