John Lawrence Rapp, 76, of Columbia, died Saturday, June 25, 2022. Born April 26, 1946, in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late John Peter Rapp and Blanche Louise Johnson Rapp.

Mr. Rapp was a devoted Christian and longtime member of Shandon Baptist Church, where he sang in the church choir. He loved his family deeply and cherished every moment spent with them.

Survivors include his wife, Debora J. Rapp; sons, Jason Rapp (Allison) and their two sons, Daniel and Landon and Jared Rapp (Allison) and their two sons, Zack and Nolan.

The memorial service for Mr. Rapp will be held at 1 o'clock, Saturday, July 2nd at Shandon Baptist Church, Old Chapel, 5250 Forest Dr, Columbia, SC 29206. The family will receive friends following the service in the chapel.

Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
