Johnny Sammy Boulware, 84, of Jenkinsville, died Saturday, December 16, 2017. Born December 23, 1932, in Winnsboro, he was a son of the late Talmage Thomas Boulware and Johnnie Timms Boulware.

Mr. Boulware retired from the V.C. Summer Nuclear Plant, in Jenkinsville. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church and The Broad River Masonic Lodge and was a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Wyllene Flanders Boulware; daughter, Janet B. Clark (Brent); sons, M. Glenn Boulware and Kelly L. Boulware; grandchildren, Jillian Clark, Mitchell Clark, Logan Boulware, and Bridger Boulware; great-grandchildren, Ayden Clark and Landon Clark; and a sister, Lilly Ray Jeffcoat (Bernie). In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Talmage, Marion, and Crosby Boulware.

The funeral service for Mr. Boulware will be held 1 o'clock, Thursday, December 21st, at Little River Baptist Church, with The Rev. Sonny Ariail officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Little River Baptist Church, 343 Little River Church Road, Jenkinsville, SC 29065.
