John "Johnny" Anthony Richardson, 69, of Lugoff, died on Saturday, January 17, 2026. Born in Columbia, SC, on June 28, 1956, he was a son of the late Rufus Thomas and Evelyn Rebecca Tucker Richardson. Mr. Richardson honorably served in the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed NASCAR Racing and Carolina Gamecock football.

Johnny is survived by his brother, Butch Richardson (Joan), of Blythewood; sister, Bonnie Stanton, of Lugoff; brother, Kenny Richardson (Karen), of Elgin; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Linda Richardson; and brothers, Roger and Mark Richardson

The graveside service for Johnny will be held at 3 o'clock, Monday, January 26th, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
