Jose Miguel Arroyo, 80, of Lexington, died Monday, January 16, 2023.

Mr. Arroyo was born May 20, 1942, in Isabela, Puerto Rico. He is survived by his life partner, Maria Feliciano, as well as his daughters, Deborah Arroyo Geiger of New Jersey and Regina Arroyo of South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Nieves Olmo; son, Joseph Arroyo; sister, Belen Paredes Nieves and brother, Antonio Nieves Diaz.

The funeral service for Mr. Arroyo will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday, January 21st at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. Burial will immediately follow at Woodridge Memorial Park, 138 Corley Mill Rd, Lexington, SC.

The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock at the funeral home.
