Joseph "Joe" F. Corson, 86, passed peacefully on October 29th, 2018, surrounded by family and friends. He was born and raised in Blairsville, PA (Indiana County). He is one of nine children, from Dorothy and Harold Corson. He served in the army and was active duty during the Korean conflict. Joe was a loving person and never did meet a stranger. He had a passion for music and an exceptional God given talent of singing. As a young man, he played in a Polka band, as their lead singer. He even tried his hand at guitar and banjo. He loved doing yard work and if you visited, you could always find him outdoors. Lastly, everyone knew he, "loved to play with play-doh". (Inside joke)

Joe retired after 30 years at General Motors in Lordstown, Ohio. In 1997, he and Frances moved to Blythewood, SC where they called home since that time. He was a dedicated employee and rarely missed a day of work. He never would sit still for long. He was always active even in his 80s. He was a very hard worker.

Memorial services for Mr. Corson are Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at 1:00pm, at Pine View Baptist Church. 111 PineView Church Rd. Blythewood, SC 29016. Immediately following family will receive friends in the fellowship hall.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Mary "Frances" Corson of Blythewood, SC.

Children: Sons, Marty Corson, Warren Ohio. Jeff Corson (Cathy), Niles, Ohio. James Corson, Warren, Ohio. Daughter, Juanita Thomas, Warren, Ohio. Step-Children: Son, Gerald Livingston (Lori), Eastover, SC, Daughters, Lisa Darby, Pelion, SC and Pamela Livingston, Blythewood, SC.

Grandchildren: Joey Corson, Jeffrey Corson, Mandy Seeger (Scotty), MaryAnn Stanley, Melissa Briggs, Cody Sitton, Lakin Sitton, Dalton Livingston, Candice Livingston, Marla Rye.

Great-grandchildren: Joey Corson, Wade Seeger, Alexis Briggs, Bryson Seeger, Alexandria Beasley, Arianna Beasley and Brelynn Seeger "the baby".
