Judith Clifton Funderburk, 85, of Columbia, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Born in Norfolk, VA, on February 16, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Hugh M. and Elinore Orton Clifton. Mrs. Funderburk was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a devoted homemaker. She enjoyed her retirement years with her husband, Ed (Fundy), traveling in their RV across the United States and Canada. She especially loved nature and enjoyed sharing her appreciation of God's creation with her family.

Survivors include her husband, Ed (Fundy) Funderburk; daughters, Deborah McDonald and husband, Bruce Holmes, of Irmo, Julie Baker and husband, Mark, of White Rock, and Katie Morris, of West Columbia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Teresa L. Funderburk.

The service for Mrs. Funderburk will be held at 2 o'clock, Friday, July 22nd, at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. David H. Lauten officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in Jackson Hall. A private burial will be held in the churchyard of First Presbyterian Church. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
