Juliana Pollard, 39, died peacefully under Hospice Care at home in Columbia, SC on 24 April 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Julie, born in Ohio, resided in Crystal River, FL until recently moving to Columbia. She is survived by husband Carl, children Daisy, Dennis and Franklin, parents The Rev. Cheryl (Jones) and Bert Bakker, mother-in-law Vicki Sharpe (Richard), sister Jennifer Sanders (Benjamin), brother Benjamin Dozier (Mary), aunts Joan Wilcox (Michael) and Rayna Bakker (William, deceased), niece Janae, and nephews Jarrod, Blake, Nic and Matthew.

Julie attended Crystal River middle and high schools and the University of South Florida. She was a woman of strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior, was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church, and later attended Christ Community Church, Lecanto and Calvary Chapel, Irmo, SC. She was instrumental in founding La Leche League in Citrus County and was active in Citrus County Christian Homeschool Group.

There will be visitation at Christ Community Christian Church, Lecanto on Saturday, April 27th from 1:30 -2:00 pm, a funeral service 2:00 – 4:00 pm, followed by a private interment at Fero Memorial Gardens, Lecanto. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter and teacher and will be greatly missed.
