June Marie Harper Rodriquez, 52, of Columbia, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Born in Columbia, SC, on July 12, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Ardis Clinton Harper, Jr. and June Gilhousen Harper. June Marie earned a Bachelor's of Science degree from the University of South Carolina and worked as a registered nurse for Palmetto Health Homecare/Hospice. A very dedicated caregiver, June Marie always extended her skills to her patients and the many members of her family.

Surviving are her two sisters, Addie Ruth Harper Calvitt (Jeff), and Betty L. Barron; and six brothers, Blair A. Harper, Jeffrey G. Harper, Jon M. Harper, James W. Harper, George E. Harper and Robert L. Harper (Beth); along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by a brother, Ardis C. Harper, III

The funeral service for Ms. Rodriquez will be held at 11 o'clock on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 o'clock and also following the service.
