Junior Earl "Jabo" Walker, 82, of Winnsboro died, Sunday, October 21, 2012. Born September 23, 1930 in Kershaw County, he was a son of the late Herbert G. Walker and Fannie Easler Walker.

Survivors include his wife, Zelma Lindler Walker; sons, Jimmy (Cindy) Walker of Winnsboro, Rick (Elaine) Walker of Elgin; grandchildren, Sabrina Boan, Melissa Walker; six great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 3 o'clock, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Road, Columbia with The Rev. Luther Swicegood officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 2 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia.
