Mrs. Katharina Elisabeth Müller Metts, 70, of Columbia, died Friday, April 26, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Friedrich Müller and Maria Müller and born in Attenhofen, Germany on December 15, 1953.

She is survived by her husband, Leo Michael Metts; daughters, Michelle Metts and Marsha (Willie Lee Jr) Metts; son, Michael Metts; grandchildren, Sophie (Nya) Thomas, Ethan Tolbert, Alani Fields, Morgan Harrison, Zachary Harrison and Lucas Harrison; great grandson, Nolan Scott; and siblings, Eva (Harald) Hofmann, Sophie (Günther) Bächtle, and Heinrich (Magda) Müller. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Friedrich "Fritz" (Uschi) Müller.

Katharina will be laid to rest at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
