Kathleen Delane Matheson, 72, of Lexington, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Born November 10, 1940, in St. George, SC, she was a daughter of the late Wilson and Florie Infinger Way. Over the years, Kathleen worked as an auto insurance agent, store manager, and owned and operated her own store.

Survivors include her sons, Robert (Ruth) Matheson of Elgin and Walter Alexander (Linda) Matheson, Jr. of Lugoff; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Alexander Matheson, Sr.; and brothers, Ernest, Olin and Herbie Way.
