Kathryn Thomas Pressley, 80, of Elgin, passed this life, Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Born August 15, 1939 in Georgetown, she was a daughter of the late Clyde and Blanche Tomlinson Thomas. She was a loving wife and grandmother and was known for her wonderful cooking. Kathryn loved to shop and adored her family, especially her great-granddaughter, who was named after her.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Henry Wallace Pressley; her sons, James "Bodie" Ritchie and Ray Ritchie; her beloved granddaughter, Nicole Ritchie Kirkley (Michael); her precious great-granddaughter, Kathryn "Kate"; and a sister, Mary Lou Rogers.

In light of the recent Novel COVID-19 Virus, the private graveside service for Mrs. Pressley, will be held at Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
