Mrs. Kay M Doar's Obituary
Kay M. Doar, 84, of Elgin, went to be in her heavenly home Thursday, March 7, 2024.
The former, Joyce Kay Martin, was born in Columbia, SC, the daughter of the late Heyward Thomas Martin and the late Oneida Todd Martin. She was a 1958 graduate of Columbia High School. She loved the Lord and was a member of North Trenholm Baptist Church in Columbia.
Kay is survived by cousins, Betty Lynn Price Platt (Steve), J. Ronald Price (Robin), and other cousins, family, and friends who loved her.
in addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Archie L. Doar, Jr.; and three sons, Archie L. Doar, III, Channing Thomas Doar, and Martin Todd Doar.
She will be laid to rest at Fort Jackson National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
