Keith Loman Evans, 77, of Columbia, died on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Born in Glenwood, Georgia, on July 13, 1944, he was a son of the late Douglas Evans and Lorene Davis Evans Smith.

Survivors include his loving and devoted spouse, Leola (Lee) Rounds Brown; nieces, Dawn Day Sistrunk (Ronnie) of Glenwood, GA, Robyn Day of New York, NY, April Day of Glenwood, GA; nephew, Shaun Evans of Glenwood, GA; great niece, Angela Leigh Ivey of Dublin, GA; great nephew, Dayton Evan Wilkes of Dublin, GA; and his loving companion, Bella (Maltese).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Robert J. Smith of Glenwood, GA; as well as his sister, Alegra Evans Day; and brother-in-law, Robbie Lee Day of Glenwood, GA; and his brother, Stanton Evans of Glenwood, GA.

The family will receive friends prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 1 o'clock. The funeral service for Mr. Evans will be held at 2 o'clock, Saturday, February 12th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.

A service of committal and military honors will be held at Fort Jackson National Cemetery on Tuesday, February 15th, at 10 o'clock.
