Kelli Sue Northcutt, 71, of Columbia, died on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Born on December 8, 1953, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Dalhart Northcutt and Elizabeth Rose Smith Northcutt.
Ms. Northcutt worked for many years in the food service industry. Whether she was waitressing or operating her own restaurant, she demonstrated attention and commitment to her customers. Ms. Northcutt was a fiercely strong women, often inspiring her family and friends with confidence. She fueled her adventurous spirit by riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, wearing her red lipstick and green eye shadow, and refusing to go gray. Ms. Northcutt had a natural knack for growing flowers and her green thumb was evident by all the plants that adorned her home. She loved collecting Beanie Babies, getting manicures, and researching the Royal family, especially Princess Diana. Her greatest love was her family. She cherished every holiday, birthday, or moment, no matter how insignificant, spent with each of them.
Survivors include her children, Ronald Boozer, Jr. (Kayla), Preston Deaver (Mallory), and Kaci Prigge (David); grandchildren, Autumn, Jerisann, Hannah, Trey, Nicholas, Ethan, Bradyn, Batson, Caden, Olivia, Ryker, Hadley, and expected baby Boozer; two great grandchildren, as well as her siblings, Nicky Northcutt and Liz Northcutt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Richard Northcutt, Sr. and David Wyman Northcutt.
The funeral service for Ms. Northcutt will be held at 11 o'clock, Thursday, April 17th, at City of Hope Worship Center, 1403 D Avenue, West Columbia, SC, with Bishop Toby Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, 501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, SC.
The family will receive guests from 5 until 7 o'clock Wednesday, April 16th, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext, Columbia, SC.
