Kenneth Lawrence Prewitt, 65, of Columbia, SC, passed away at his home on October 30, 2021.

He is survived by his mother, Dora Ann Easler Awtrey; father, Frank Kenneth Prewitt; brother, Michael Greg Prewitt (Melanie); and a niece, Turner Prewitt.

Kenny had a great love for his family and the outdoors. He loved to dove and duck hunt and enjoyed the company of great friends and family on other occasions. Kenny was a 1974 graduate of Spring Valley High School and had also earned a Business Degree. He worked in The Building and Construction business most of his life.

Kenneth was a lifetime member of Dentsville Baptist Church having been Baptized at age nine.

The graveside service for Mr. Prewitt will be held at 2 o'clock on Tuesday, November 2nd, at Jackson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor David Knapp. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel is assisting the family.
