Kevin Arthur McDonald, 60, of Blythewood, died Friday, January 12, 2018. Born on November 28, 1957, in Fort Mead, MD, he was the son of Julia Patricia Johnson McDonald and the late Clarence Edward McDonald. Kevin played bass guitar in several rock bands and was an avid music lover. He was a train enthusiast and worked as a computer engineer. Kevin had a great sense of humor and adored the family dogs.

In addition to his mother, Julia McDonald, Kevin is survived by sisters, Sheila Greenberg, and Patricia Milam; nephews, Christopher Milam, Scott Milam, and William Greenberg; one niece, Shoshana Greenberg.

Final Commendation and Farewell Prayers for Mr. McDonald will be said 2 o'clock, Tuesday, January 16th, graveside at Memorial Gardens of Columbia, 9301 Wilson Blvd., Columbia. A vigil for the deceased will be held 7 o'clock, Monday, January 15th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia.
