Koren Elizabeth Delk, 49, of Elgin, died Friday, August 17, 2012. Born July 13, 1963, she was a daughter of Joan Bass DuBose and the late Raymond Wiles. She was a member of River of Life Christian Fellowship, was an avid bird lover and rescued many dogs.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Michael Delk; mother, Joan DuBose of Columbia; sister, Susan Ann (Keith) Delk of Florence; nephew, Kyle Delk of Florence.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 11 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, with The Rev. Terris Deas officiating. Interment will follow at 1 o'clock at Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 unitl 8 Monday evening at the funeral home.
