Larry Gene Bundrick, 64, of Lexington, died Saturday, October 12, 2013 after a short illness. Born August 19, 1949 in Columbia, he was a son of the late Chalmers Junior Bundrick and Audrey Thompson Bundrick.

Larry was a 1967 graduate of Eau Claire High School. He retired from the SC Department of Mental Health after 25 years, where he left behind a legacy of caring, and a deliberate effort of helping others. Larry will be forever remembered for his lifetime of care for his brother Ronnie, as well as nieces, nephews and many others.

Survivors include his brothers, Ronnie Bundrick, Don (Ann) Bundrick, David (Priscilla) Bundrick; "adopted brother", Mitch (Janice) Poston; nieces, Laura Bundrick, Carrie (Joe) Collins, Blythe (Kason) Littlefield; nephews, Benji (Crystal) Poston, and Brandon Poston.

A funeral service to celebrate Larry's life will be held at 12 o'clock, Tuesday, October 15th at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia with The Rev. Michael Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 11 o'clock.
