Larry Bernard Davis, 83, of Lexington, entered his eternal heavenly home Sunday, March 25, 2018. Born in Columbia, on March 19, 1935, he was a son of the late Daniel Bruce Davis and Saluda Belle Starnes Davis.
Mr. Davis was a Master Mason since 1959 and a member of Acacia Lodge #94 A.F.M. in Columbia. He was also a Shriner since 1974 and a member of Jamil Temple in Columbia. Mr. Davis was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church of Columbia and loved his Palmetto A's Car Club.

Surviving Mr. Davis is his wife of over 40 years, Lois Jones Davis; sons, Michael Davis (Sandra), James Carter (Kathy); daughter, Kimberly Anderson (Andy); siblings, Olin Davis (Teresia), Carolyn Florence (Hugh) and Dean Davis (Sondra). He was also blessed with seven grandchildren, Lance Davis, Jacob Carter (Rachael), Daniel Carter (Mallory), Phillip Carter, Savannah Yandle (Trent), Summer Still, Hannah Anderson; and a great grandson, Ayden Yandle. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his brother, Herbert Richard "Dickie" Davis.

The service for Mr. Davis will be held at 2 o'clock, Thursday, March 29th at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. Burial will follow in Bush River Memorial Gardens, 5400 Bush River Road, Columbia. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1 o'clock.
