A memorial service for Lawrence Howard Yarborough will be held at 12 o'clock on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, SC 29203. Mr. John Randal Wolfe will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held prior to the service from 11 o'clock to 12 o'clock.

Lawrence, son of Howard S. and Janie K. Yarborough, died on Saturday, February 1, 2025, after a lengthy illness. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Doris Wolfe Yarborough; daughter, Tammy Mancil (Jeff); son, Joe Glenn (Jennifer); grandsons, Shelby, Hunner, and Luke; brother, Grady Yarborough (Diane); brother-in-law, Eddie Wolfe (Wendy); and sister-in-law, Jane Wolfe (John). He was preceded by his parents listed above and brother-in-law, John Wolfe.

Lawrence's personality endeared him to all who knew him. He was loved and will be missed by family and friends forever.

Thank you to his hospice team, Pastor Ralph Young and those who stayed in touch with messages of love and prayers.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
