Lee Mullis Chandler, aged 79, of Columbia, SC, passed away on August 1, 2024, in Columbia, SC. Born in Charleston, SC, she was the cherished daughter of the late James Morton Mullis and Agnes Mumford Mullis.
Lee had a flourishing career as a floral designer with DeLoache Flowers and later retired from Allied Barton Security. She was a respected and beloved figure in her professional community, known for her creativity and dedication.
She was a devoted member of North East United Methodist Church, where she participated in various community and church activities, enriching the lives of those around her with her faith and kindness.
Lee was preceded in death by her husband, David Baldwin, and her son, Bryant L Chandler, III. Her passing marks the loss of a loving mother, wife, and friend whose warmth and generosity touched many lives.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 11 o'clock at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. Burial will follow the service at Memorial Gardens of Columbia, 9301 Wilson Blvd., Columbia, SC. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
Lee's life was a testament to her loving nature, her dog Darby, and her passion for both her career and her community. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
