Obituary
Leigh Cullen Taylor, 37, of Columbia, died Sunday, September 23, 2018. Born on December 15, 1980, in Annapolis, Maryland, she was the daughter of Karen Edythe Conlin Taylor and the late Ralph Frederick Taylor. Leigh was an avid sports fan who especially loved the Florida State Seminoles, Maryland Terrapins, and both the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. She was a graduate of Midlands Tech and was employed in various capacities in the restaurant industry.
In addition to her mother, Leigh is survived by her brother, Mark Sanner Taylor of Columbia; aunt, Jaki McMurtie of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; uncle, John Bertram Taylor of Crayton, NC; cousins, Frederick McMurtie of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jennifer Taylor Barnes of Garner, NC, Bonnie Taylor of West Chapel, NC, and Jay Taylor of Clayton, NC.
A private graveside service will be held at Mayo United Methodist Church, 1005 Old Turkey Point Rd., Edgewater, MD 21037. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
Memorials may be made to the charity of ones' choice
