Leonard Lee Goff, Jr., 84, of Columbia, died on Monday, May 18, 2026. Born on May 20, 1941, in Columbia, he was a son of Leonard Lee Goff, Sr. and Thelma B. McLaurin.
Mr. Goff was a member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church and retired as a Data Technician from the United States Postal Service following a career that spanned three decades. He also helped manage and operate Goff Painting. Mr. Goff enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball and fishing.
Survivors include his children, Lisa Ray Clark, Carol Lynn Hickson (Bennie), Leonora Lee Dillon (Billy), Linda LuAnn Hiter (Bill), and Lloyd Carroll Goff (Alisha); grandchildren, Candice Pacheco (Richard), Calvin C. Clark, Cara C. Thomas (Zackary), Christopher B. Goff, Bennie W. Hickson, III, Quincy J. Hickson, Ciera N. Hickson, Nabaasa F. Elder (Matthew), Lyn R. Hickson, Lyndsey R. Cooper (Tylor), A. Lane Dillon, Logan B. Dillon, Leonard L. Goff, III (Selina), Frankie I. Lyles, Slade L. Hiter, Wyatt R. Lyles, Peyton Hiter, and Sullivan C. Coggins (Zachary); as well as his great-grandchildren, Pyeton R. Clark, Charlotte E. Pacheco, Pat’ence Chattine, Raymond Ryan, Amelia C. Elder, Mia R. Elder, Isaac C. Elder, Landyn S. Cooper, Brooks D. Cooper, Eliana B. Goff, Soraya E. Goff, Alejandro L. Goff, Greir T. Coggins, and McCauley E. Coggins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ray Goff and a brother, Carroll Goff.
The funeral service for Mr. Goff will be held at 2 o'clock, Friday, May 22nd, at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia. Burial will follow at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 1 o'clock.
