Lewis Bynum Konemann, Jr., 53, of Columbia, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017. Born in Columbia, South Carolina, he was a son of Ann Bailey Salter and the late Lewis Bynum Konemann, Sr. Lewis was a loving son, loyal brother, a proud and dedicated father and a faithful friend.

Survivors include his daughter, Kaily Burnett Konemann; mother, Ann Bailey Salter (William E.); sisters, Tracy K. Newman, Leslie K. Nelson; brother, Troy Glynn Konemann, step-sister, Amanda S. Philipp; step-brother, Christopher W. Salter; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, Lewis is preceded by his grandparents, William L. and Burnett P. Konemann.


A funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Sunday, April 30th at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia with The Rev. Ron Bower officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1 o'clock. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
