Mrs. Lillian Thornberry McCain, 86, of Columbia, died on Sunday, December 16, 2012. Born on January 12, 1926, in Lynchburg VA, she was a daughter of the late Walter Lee Thornberry and Margaret Eubanks LeClair. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughters, Sandra Camp, Sharon Rickborn (Larry), and Christie James (Jimmy); grandchildren, Cresta Perrot Weissenburger (David), John-Philip Major Camp, and Emily Ashton McCain; great grandchildren, Reagan and Jackson Weissenburger; and niece, Rita Cromwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Calhoun McCain; sister, Hazel Irene Gilbert; and son –in- law, Phil Major Camp.

A graveside service will be held 3:30 o'clock, Tuesday, December 18th, at Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 6688 State Highway 269, Winnsboro, SC. The family will receive friends at Shives Funeral Home, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia, on the day of the service beginning at 2 until 3 o'clock.
