Lillie Mae "Nanny" Davis, 97, of Columbia, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013. Born May 15, 1915, in Franklin County, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Kettrand John Carrol Cleveland and Minnie Smith Cleveland. Nanny enjoyed gardening and loved her animals.

Survivors include her great-nieces, Michele White of Lexington, whom Nanny loved as a daughter, and Becky (Jerry) Pulliam of Commerce, GA; great nephews, Kit Jackson of Conway; her special friend, Hollie Brooks; and numerous other extended family members. In addition to her parents, Lillie Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Davis; sister, Irene Bone; brother, James Cleveland; great-niece, Diane Broxton; and great-nephew, Michael Moore.

The funeral service for Mrs. Davis will be held 3:00 o'clock, Friday, May 17th, at Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 5202 Colonial Drive, Columbia. Burial will follow at Olympia Cemetery.
