Linda Bowen, 71, of Columbia, died Thursday, January 25, 2018. Her funeral service will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, January 31st, at Rehoboth United Methodist Church with the Rev. Constance Barnes and the Rev. Douglas Benton officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service in the sanctuary, beginning at 1:30 o'clock. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.

Born in Columbia, SC, Linda was the daughter of the late Albert Bryant and Docia Braziel Bowen. Linda is survived by a sister, Catherine Bowen, of Columbia; nephew, Larry (Dale) Hill, of Augusta, GA; a niece, Mary Gray, of Horn Ball, TX. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Trudy Hill, and brothers, Clyde, Norman, and Rudy Bowen.

Linda retired from BellSouth, Yellow Pages, where she spent 35 years handling several different management positions.
