Mrs. Linda Kaye Manuel, 71, of Elgin, died Sunday, May 19, 2019. Born April 20, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Harry Samuel Mabe, Jr., and Evelyn Louise Kitts Mabe.

She was a loving Mom, Me Maw and sister. Linda's family was her biggest joy in life. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie McEntire (Clayton); a son, Travis Manuel (Jennifer); grandchildren, Ryan Winde, Jacob Winde, Hannah Beth McEntire, Brittany Dheel and Robbie Manuel; sister, Brenda Underwood (Bobby) and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, John William Manuel, Jr.

The funeral service for Mrs. Manuel will be held at 11 o'clock on Wednesday, May 22nd at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. James W. Thompson, III officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10 o'clock at the church. Burial will follow at 1 o'clock at Fort Jackson National Cemetery.
