Linda Anne Smarr Spencer, 57, of Columbia, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017. A daughter of the late Col Albert W. Smarr, Jr. and Anne Kirkpatrick Smarr, she was married to the late Randy Spencer. She attended Forest Lake Presbyterian Church in her youth, was a graduate of the University of South Carolina and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. Linda worked for 30 years in Gulf Breeze, FL, as a legal assistant for attorney Gerald Brown.

Survivors include her brothers, Art Smarr (Ruthann), Rick Smarr (Donna), and John Smarr (Kelly); a sister, Joan Smarr Spivey (Larry), and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be held 2 o'clock, Wednesday, September 6th, at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, with The Rev. Dr. Ellen Fowler Skidmore officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
