Lindsay Benjamin Branham

Lindsay Benjamin Branham, 85, of Charlotte, NC, died on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Born on January 19, 1941, in Winnsboro, SC, he was the son of Frank Branham and Mae Ross Branham. Mr. Branham was an avid football fan who especially enjoyed cheering on the Dallas Cowboys and Carolina Panthers. He enjoyed classic television series and watching old westerns in his spare time. Mr. Branham was known for his hard work ethic and had several successful occupations during his career.

Mr. Branham was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Lee Hannon Branham; his stepdaughter, Janice Ross, as well as his sisters, Clara Bradwell, Vera Goodwin, Doris Branham, and Evelyn Brazell. He is survived by his children, Teresa A. Braasch (Kenny) of Spanaway, WA and Sherri B. Lee (Robert C.) of Columbia; stepchildren, Ronnie Moss (Cheryl) of Charlotte, NC and Alex Moss of Columbia. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and other extended family.

The funeral service for Mr. Branham will be held at 2 o’clock on Sunday, August 23rd at Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, 7600 Trenholm Road Ext., Columbia, SC. Burial will follow in Royal Pines Memorial Gardens, 9th Street at 8th Street, Winnsboro, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the services beginning at 1 o'clock.
