Louise Webster Evans, 91, of Chapin, died Sunday, February 24, 2013. Born in Olanta, SC on July 12, 1921, she was a daughter of the late James A. and Leila Dubose Webster. A former member of Bayview Baptist Church, she and her late husband, Hovie L. Evans, enjoyed traveling together with the Holiday Ramblers. Louise was an active participant in the Rochelle Heights Neighborhood Association and the Victory Garden.

Survivors include, her daughter-in-law, Mary Evans of Chapin; great granddaughter, Kelon Brown; and friends, Susan Simmons and Russell Chambers. Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years; sons, Al Lorenz and Frankie E. Evans; grandson, Frankie Evans, Jr.; and granddaughter, Michele E. Brown.

A graveside service for Mrs. Evans will be held 2 o'clock, Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens, 2603 Two Notch Rd, Columbia.
