Louise Annette Hooker, 68, of Monroe, NH, died unexpectedly on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2018 in Columbia, SC. Born April 27, 1950, in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, she was a daughter of the late John and Doris Piloette Thresher.
Family was first in her life and she always enjoyed spending time with them, her friends and especially her granddaughter, who was her pride and joy. After retirement, she spent quality family time with her husband, Leon at their winter home in Inverness, FL. Louise loved to cook, doodle, gamble and anything flowers related.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Leon C. Hooker; her daughters, Angela Marie Zambon and Corrina Thomas (Johnny); granddaughter, Maria Louise Zambon; siblings, Delores Ferrin, Thadius, Lucien and Patrick Thresher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Drown.
A service to celebrate Louise's life will be held in her birth state of Vermont in the spring. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
