Lt. Colonel Charles Jerry Bradshaw, USAF, SC ANG (Ret.), 86, of Columbia, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Born in Rockingham, NC, on January 18, 1935, he was a son of the late Jacob B. and Gladys Mills Bradshaw. His greatest accomplishment was going to flight school straight from graduating high school. He was an avid pilot, hunter and fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Cooper Bradshaw; son, John Bradshaw (Cindy); daughter, Terri Lollis; grandchildren, Jared Lollis and Marissa Lollis; great granddaughter, Madilyn Reid; and a brother, Perry Bradshaw. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Leslie Bradshaw.
The graveside service for Lt. Colonel Bradshaw will be held at 12 o'clock, Thursday, June 3rd, at Fort Jackson National Cemetery, 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, with the Rev. Larry Bates officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Silver Foxes from McEntire Air National Guard. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
