Mrs. Lucile Faust Snyder, 89, of Columbia, died Friday, August 5, 2016. Born to the late Simon Andrew and Burley Louise Faust, she was married to the late John Allyn Snyder. Lucile was a strong Christian lady, who loved serving others at North Trenholm Baptist Church. She especially enjoyed cooking for people and decorating the tables for the monthly senior adult luncheon.

She is survived by her daughter, Marty Sylvan Nauss (Smitty) of Pawley's Island; grandchildren, Jay Sylvan and Whitney Sylvan Ransom (DJ); son, Andrew Snyder of North Santee; and granddaughter, Amy Snyder Davis (Lance). In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her two sisters.

The funeral for Mrs. Snyder will be held 3 o'clock, Thursday, August 11th, at North Trenholm Baptist Church, with The Rev. Joe Copeland and The Rev. David Knapp officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens, Elgin. The family will receive friends at the church, one hour prior to the service. Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
