Mikell von Kolnitz Stribling
Mikell von Kolnitz Stribling, 86, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2026, at Rice Estates in Columbia.
She is survived by her husband Hal Dillard Stribling; a son, David Sloan Stribling of New Jersey and a daughter, Alice Mikell Stribling of California. She is also survived by her brothers, Henry von Kolnitz, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Jenkins Mikell von Kolnitz of Columbia.
She was a graduate of the University of South Carolina, a former member of the Junior League of Atlanta and a member of The Assembly. She loved doing needlework, reading and was an avid fan of the Gamecocks.
Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel, is assisting the family.
